Dr. Glenn Steffin graduated in dentistry in 2003 in Berlin, Germany, and is very passionate about his work. He Has been working in England since 2006, He is interested in incorporating new products and techniques to make dental treatment as pleasant as possible. Along with Michelle Steffin he set up East Preston Dental Clinic in 2009 and opened Ferring Dental Clinic one year later, followed by Broadwater Dental Clinic in 2022. He has also written a dissertation about composite materials which earned him his title. His main field of interest is Cosmetic Dentistry; he enjoys the outcome of a new smile.

Some of Dr. Steffin’s hobbies are surfing, snowboarding and fishing.

Michelle Steffin qualified as a dental nurse in 2003. She trained at Northbrook college studying Dental Nursing and Oral Health, – NVQ Level 3. Michelle has worked alongside Dr. Steffin since 2006 and is continuously developing her knowledge in all aspects of dentistry to give you the best possible care. As a practice manager of Eat Preston-, Ferring- and Broadwater Dental Clinic Michelle is taking care of all aspects within the clinics.

She enjoys cooking, shopping, travelling and spending time with her children Ava, Summer and Maximus.

Mohamed Kamar graduated in Dentistry at Barts and the Royal London Hospital. He has a clear passion for his work ensuring he has gone the extra mile to perfect his work and make everyone as comfortable as possible. Mohamed has worked in London, but since 2013 he has worked between Worthing and Rustington. Mohamed has always loved putting things together, making a masterpiece, flying model airplanes and helicopters. He is passionate about cooking and eating out, but otherwise you only have to mention cars to get him talking!

Daniel Chok Tourle graduated in 2010 from the Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in London, and following a year working with the maxillofacial surgery team in East Grinstead, has since been practicing dentistry with a special interest in aesthetics at various locations in Sussex. Having previously also graduated in Psychology, Dan understands how difficult it can be to struggle with a fear of the dentist. Calm, friendly and gentle, he has a lot of experience putting nervous patients at ease and delivering excellent patient care. Dan travels to us all the way from his home in the warzone known as ‘South-East London’, but when he’s not dodging shrapnel or relishing that delightful commute, he enjoys travelling abroad, cooking world cuisine, photography, Formula 1 and films.

Katerina qualified in dentistry from University of Athens Greece in 2018. Having completed a Certificate in Restorative & Aesthetic dentistry from  CAPP Training Institute , she continues to pursue further postgraduate studies in oral surgery and implantology accredited by Bristol University, the German Society of Oral Implantology(DGOI) and Tufts University accordingly. 

She is always trying to make her patients’ dental experience as relaxed as possible, providing the best she can in the most relaxed and professional manner.

Kate Allum has been part of our growing team since April 2014 and has been a valued full-time member. Kate is a friendly, caring person and will make sure all patients are made to feel welcome; she knows how difficult it can be to visit the Dentist if you are a nervous patient. She loves to chat so will quickly put you at ease. Kate has decided it’s time to go part time as she embrace’s lots of new exciting changes happening in her life. She is especially looking forward to looking after her adorable grandchildren Ronnie and Rose.

In her free time Kate enjoys early morning workouts at the gym, renovating their new property , spending time with all her family and not forgetting the long walks down the beach with Cooper her more than energetic cocker spaniel.

Bethany Francis joined the team in November 2020 and is currently enrolled in her NEBDN course to become a qualified dental nurse. In her short time here, Beth has worked her way up to Patient Feedback Co-ordinator as well as Fire Warden. In her previous job, Beth was assistant manager at a pub in Arundel for 7 years. This means she has excellent people skills and is very friendly. Beth’s favourite part of dentistry is witnessing a patient’s dental journey.

In her spare time, she can be found walking her two dogs Teddy and Poppy. She also likes to get creative and channel this through embroidery and crochet.

Samantha Tate joined the team in December 2018 and qualified with a Diploma in Dental Nursing and Oral Health in October 2020. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves seeing the results once treatment is complete. Before joining the practice Sammy worked in childcare so enjoys communicating and interacting with children, as well as adults, when they attend their appointments. Sammy oversees the social media for the practices as well as applying for awards.

In her spare time Sammy can be found spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys getting creative with arts and crafts and going shopping.

Simona Franklin joined our team in August 2014. She is a qualified translator and is able to speak in 4 Languages. Before having her first son, Simona has been working in catering, she then decided to have a career change and join the field of Dentistry. Simona has always been interested in Dentistry and is always keen to learn more about it. She has worked very hard to earn her Diploma in Dental Nursing and Oral Health. In 2019 Simona was promoted to Decontamination Infection Control Lead and in 2021 she was promoted to Radiation Protection Supervisor.

In her free time Simona likes to spend time with her sons Eduardo and Leonardo. She also likes travelling, learning languages and loves doing CrossFit.

Jordan Faith-Taylor joined the team as a receptionist in December 2020. You may see Jordan on Reception in Ferring but she will be nursing in Broadwater as she has recently started training to become a dental nurse. Before joining the clinic Jordan worked full time as a qualified hairdresser and still does mobile hairdressing part time outside of work. She is very chatty and enjoys interacting with people when they are in the waiting room or over the phone.

Outside of work Jordan enjoys spending time with her two dogs and loves anything Disney.

Emma Smith has been part of the team from the very beginning when East Preston Dental Clinic opened in 2009! She has a very bubbly personality and infectious laugh that you can hear throughout the clinic. She will never fail to make you smile! These days she splits her time between both East Preston- and Ferring Dental Clinic. After qualifying as a Hygienist in Birmingham in 1992 she moved to London and worked in private preventative and cosmetic practices. In 2004 she moved to Brighton but still commutes to London once a month to work in a dental practice where she has been for over 13 years.
Outside of work Emma is very sociable, spending her time with friends, family and most importantly her Bulldog Lucky.

Alice Howarth graduated from Portsmouth as a Dental Hygienist with First Class Honours in July 2023. Before then, she worked as a Dental Nurse following her apprenticeship which she completed in 2019. Alice originally went to college in London to study media makeup, then used her knowledge of head/neck anatomy to help secure her dental nursing apprenticeship. Alice enjoyed treating complex periodontal cases whilst at university, and continues to do so in her working career. Alice also enjoys teaching patients new ways of looking after their mouths, tailoring everything to help them find what works for them. In her spare time Alice enjoys walks in the countryside with her Labrador, Hunter, or days out with her nephew. Alice also enjoy baking, pamper evenings and shopping!
